The VMS is hosting three legislative receptions this fall for Vermont Medical Society members to meet your legislators, to socialize with your colleagues and to enjoy the awesome exhibits of three Vermont museums. Each event is free and available to physicians, physician assistants, and their families and is made possible through the generous financial support of the AMA Scope of Practice Partnership. Please join us for an opportunity to have informal conversations with your legislators to discuss issues that are important to you.
The first reception is Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at the Echo Center, in Burlington VT for those who live or work in Chittenden and Franklin Counties. The Echo Center exhibits will be open from 6-7pm, with the reception taking place from 6-8pm.
The next reception is Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at the Fairbanks Museum in St. Johnsbury, VT, from 6-8pm for those who live or work in Caledonia and Essex-Orleans Counties. The Fairbanks Museum exhibits will be open for the reception and will feature a planetarium show.
The last reception is Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at the The Montshire Museum of Science in Norwich, VT from 6-8pm for those who live or work in Windsor County and at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
Please email Michelle at firstname.lastname@example.org with the reception you'd like to attend and the number of guests you will be bringing. Light hors d'oeuvres and drinks will be served.
