VMS Hosts Clinician Wellness Summit at 2019 VMS Annual & Collaborative Meeting

VMS is proud to announce that we will host our first "Clinician Wellness Summit" as part of the 206th VMS Annual & Collaborative Meeting.  Taking place on the afternoon of Friday, November 1st, the Wellness Summit will explore the question: How do we support our clinicians being able to care for their patients? This interactive session starts with a keynote address from the American Medical Association's Michael Tutty, PhD, MHA. Next, Doug Wysockey-Johnson, who leads clinician wellness programs at Lumunos, will lead a panel of a mixture of employed and independent practitioners in a discussion about specific actions workplaces can take to support clinicians, which will be followed by a round table discussion. Robert K. McLellan, MD, MPH, FACOEM, FAAFP and Professor at Dartmouth Giesel School of Medicine, will also provide perspective on how he led the build out and implementation of services and environmental interventions designed to improve the health and safety of the workforce of Dartmouth-Hitchcock and other employers. This Wellness Summit is offered free for all members and was designed to be interactive and participatory. Join us for the Wellness Summit and then relax with your colleagues at our first ever VMS-Member Talent Show, where everyone interested will get 5 minutes to show their talent. All talent is encouraged! From ukulele solos to spoken word poetry, come share, win a prize and have some fun! Register here
