VMS Hosts Breakfast Panel on VMS Advocacy Day

We will start the 2019 VMS Advocacy Day at 7:30am-9am in the Statehouse in Montpelier with a breakfast panel focused on "The Future of Health Care in Vermont." Come listen to the discussion on health care policy between:  

  • Senate Appropriations Chair Jane Kitchel,
  • Senate Health and Welfare Chair Ginny Lyons,
  • House Human Services Chair Ann Pugh
  • House Health Care Chair Bill Lippert (invited) 
  • VMS President Steve Leffler M.D., from UVMMC,
  • Jill Rinehart, M.D., President of the Vermont Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, from  UVMMC
  • Kat McGraw, M.D.Chief Medical Officer of Brattleboro Memorial Hospital
  • Joe Lasek, M.D., Psychiatrist at the Howard Center (invited)

Please Register to learn more about how to use your voice to advocate for your profession, for state health care improvements and for your patients. After the panel, from 9:30am -12:30pm we will have a Media Advocacy Training with Carol Kelly, Public Relations Consultant.
