VMS Foundation Accepting Applications for New Physician Executive Leadership Course Until August

Get your application in today for the Vermont Medical Society Education & Research Foundation's Physician Executive Leadership Institute Foundational Course, as we are only accepting applications until August 16th. This unique opportunity is only open to a small cohort of 15-20 Vermont physicians, and it is particularly aimed at physicians with 5 or more years of clinical experience but minimal formal leadership training. The Foundational Course, which commences November 2019, will feature topic-focused modules offered in two 3-hour sessions bi-monthly over a 12-month period of time and four 90-minute focused virtual sessions in the “off months.” In addition, individual and/or small group coaching is available to the participants during the course. After the completion of the course, participants will have the opportunity to continue to meet quarterly with skilled Lumunos facilitators to apply newly acquired skills to real time leadership challenges, while providing peer support. The VMS has created the Foundational Course within a new partnership with the Daniel Hanley Center for Health Leadership and Lumunos. To learn more about the program, including the schedule and topics, please see the attached brochure. Physicians interested in attending should submit a CV and brief description of their interest to swinters@vtmd.org
