Results are in for the Physicians Foundation Physician Survey

Click here to find the results from the Physicians Foundation's Sixth Biennial Physician Survey, in which nearly 9,000 physicians were surveyed on the impact of poverty on healthcare outcomes, practice patterns, career plans, how physicians are responding to the opioid crisis and general perspectives of today’s physicians. Among their key takeaways, are that there are less independent physicians, fewer pain drug prescriptions are being written, more physicians are involved in a quality-based payment system and the majority of physicians experience burnout often.
