Reardon, M.D.
2004 VMS Founders Award
Dr. Reardon has dedicated many years of service to the
VMS and the AMA, and was presented with the 2004 Founders' Award. An
internist from Williston, Dr. Reardon practiced for 28 years at the
Aesculapius Medical Center and was a faculty member at the UVM College of
Medicine. She was active from the beginning in the Hospice movement in
Vermont. In 1993, Dr. Reardon became the first associate dean for primary
care at the UVM College of Medicine. For the past decade, she has led the
statewide Area Health Education Center program and has developed Freeman
Foundation support for scholarship aid to UVM medical students. Dr. Reardon
was the President of the VMS in 1986-87. In 1998, Dr. Reardon received the
Distinguished Service Award from the VMS. |
