VMS Citizen of the Year Award
An advisory council member of the Madison-Deane
Initiative, the end-of-life care education program at the Visiting Nurse
Association, Ms. Miller was presented with the 2004 Citizen of the Year
Award. "Holly has given her time and expertise, working tirelessly as a
volunteer to further the health of the people of Vermont," said Dr. Joan
Madison in her nomination. Miller was also the founder and chair of a
capital campaign for Vermont Respite House, a home for terminally ill
individuals and their families. |
