VMS Distinguished Service Award
Professor of pediatrics at the University of Vermont
College of Medicine, Dr. Lucey was presented with the 2004 Distinguished
Service Award. Dr. Lucey has a worldwide reputation as a leader in neonatal
research and is the founder of the Vermont Oxford Study. He is the Harry
Wallace Professor of Neonatology at UVM and has been on the College of
Medicine faculty since 1956. Dr. Lucey serves as the chief of newborn
services at FAHC in Burlington, and has been the editor-in-chief of the
journal Pediatrics since 1974. He has authored or co-authored more than 160
articles and edited six books. |
