The Vermont Medical Society Council (governing body) has reviewed 12 policy resolutions (listed below) that will be presented for a vote at the VMS Annual Membership meeting on Saturday, November 2nd from 9 am – 12 pm at the Topnotch Resort in Stowe.
VMS held a member comment period on these resolutions between September 19th and October 17th via survey and online submission and received over 150 responses. VMS also hosted a Town Hall webinar on October 17th to allow members to engage in an open forum and to share live comments. Please click here for the 2019 Resolution Survey and Town Hall comments.
Please note: the comments DO NOT REPRESENT A VOTE on the resolutions. Voting will take place in-person at the Membership Meeting, Saturday, November 2nd from 9 am – 12 pm at the Topnotch Resort in Stowe. Comments submitted via the online system and summarized Town Hall comments will also be shared with the membership present at the Membership Meeting on November 2nd and may inform amendments or the discussion on the resolutions.
Based on VMS Council feedback and member comments the VMS Executive Committee will offer amendments on Res.2, Res. 5 and Res. 12 at the Membership Meeting for discussion and possible vote. Please click below for the amendments.
